5300 MODEM

The 5300 is a series of advanced digital modems using a waveform and protocol specially designed to provide reliable high-speed data transfer using standard HF radio equipment. The 5300 is offered in two different versions depending on the system configuration. The TW5300 and the RT5300 are standalone models for connection to laptops or other data terminals.

The TW5300 is a compact, desktop unit designed for general purpose usage. The RT5300 is identical to the TW5300 except it is packaged in a waterproof case for use in harsh environments. Also included in the DT5300C rugged, tactical notebook computer.

MIL-STD-188

The E110A is a high- speed HF modem utilizing MIL-STD-188-110B compliant waveforms to provide rapid, reliable, and accurate data transmissions up to 9600 bps. Incorporating the Automatic Repeat Request and Forward Error Correction protocols to ensure error free data communications, it can be used with either of two software programs with Datron's 7000-series HF radio.

The modem is a PCI card and is embedded in a desktop or notebook computer.

Rugged Tactical Computer Network

The DT9400 is a rugged, lightweight notebook computer that offers the processing power, video display and accessories to meet the demanding requirements encountered in unforgiving environments.

It is the ideal solution for the military, police, industrial, and other mission-critical field applications. In addition to its application as a standalone computer, the DT9400 provides an invaluable compliment to Datron's radio products as a programmer radio in administrative situations, a radio controller in network applications, and a message terminal for data transmission.

The DT9400 is also available in versions with embedded high-speed HF modems (DT5300C and DT110)

Datron Link

DatronLINK is a proprietary HF E-Mail Gateway and Network Management Software solution that provides the ability to exchange E-mail, faxes, files and keyboard chat messages. It also allows the user to configure and manage the radio network. It is designed for use with the E110A high speed modem and Datron's HF (7000-series, PRC1099A) radios. It can be used on a desktop or notebook computer with Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.
